Its ironic how a small event creates a sensational effect on the Sneaker hype culture?
Sneakers hype culture is an active, fast-changing, and emotional culture. Here, small details of the shoes, everyday news, social media influencers, and celebrities matter a lot. You need to stay updated with the news to be in touch with the trend. One of the famous influencers of the Sneaker culture is The Great Sensational Rapper Mr. Travis Scott and there exists an effect named after his name “The Travis Effect” or rather call it “The Magic Effect.”
Let me tell you a short story behind The Travis Effect! Expanding the sneakers arena, Nike released a pair of skateboarding shoes named “Nike SB Dunk” in the year 2002. These pairs were supposed to challenge every other professional skateboarding shoe of the time. Sadly, it failed miserably as skateboarders still preferred the classic NIKE SILHOUETTES.
The Sun sat very early for the Nike SB Dunk, and no one can speculate that the Sun will rise again for the Dunks in the year 2019. To everyone’s surprise, it happened when Mr. Travis Scott was wearing an unseen pair of NIKE SB DUNKs. Word got around like fire, everywhere in the street people had one question, “Where can we find these DUNKs?” Nike SB DUNK caught such a huge fire, that to date, sneaker lovers long for a pair of DUNK as these kicks became a necessary pair for their closet.
If this isn’t a magic effect, then I don’t know what name to be given to this miracle!
